Hello
I saw on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_re ... ng_systems that this coddde figure asa open source and has support for c166 but on the site the is no mention to c166. Is this architecture included in the available versions on the site or in some older version(link please)? The support for this arch is included in any free version?
Tks.

Re: Erika Enterprise for c166
Hi!
Thanks for the question.
The very first version of ERIKA I wrote was on C166... The support was then dropped a few years later because there was no requests, and i did not have anymore the hardware.
Some code is still available in the codebase if you want to restart the port.
Maybe a working version could be found in the Erika Educational Easrly versions, but those are unsupported.
Let us know if you want to do a porting for the micro, or if you want us to do so (in that case please send a separate e-mail out of the forum)...it would be nice to have it back.
Ciao,
Paolo

Re: Erika Enterprise for c166
Hello Paolo,
Can you tell me where can i find Erika Educational Easrly a link. Probably we will port this rtos if we decide to use this RTOS.
What kind of compiler was used: tasking, keil or other?

Re: Erika Enterprise for c166
Dear Cafi,
the web page of ERIKA educational was backed up at
http://erika.tuxfamily.org/drupal/erika ... ional.html
basically we took a zip of the old site and put there. But I just found the zip disappeared
, probably in one of the cleanups we had to do on tuxFamily to stay under quota we erroneously removed it. I'll have to search it in our backups.
Anyway the code for st10 in its original form is still in the ERIKA repository, under ee/old/pkg/cfg/st10segm (for a large memory mode) and ee/old/pkg/cfg/st10tiny (for a small memory model). The code was using the CP register to have a good efficiency during the context change. Note also the code was pre-RT-Druid, so there is no OIL configuration available. The compiler was a Tasking compiler released in 2001.
If you want to do the porting, we published some porting instructions at
http://erika.tuxfamily.org/wiki/index.p ... controller
In case you need commercial support for the porting, please write outside of this forum directly to Evidence.
