Hi,

If i'm not wrong those are the PPC cores for Xilinx Virtex 4 and 5.

They are currently not supported, and as I know noone is currently doing the porting. If you need support for doing the porting, you can refer to the Wiki page:

http://erika.tuxfamily.org/wiki/index.p ... controller

or if you need commercial support, you can contact us at the support page http://erika.tuxfamily.org/drupal/conte ... al-support with more details...

Ciao,

Paolo

Thank you for the quick reply.

I want to porting it to PPC440 and you are right it is for Xilinx FPGAs.
Can you tell the approx time i would require to undertake this porting. Or any hints will do.
I have a team of 3, having good experience with linux porting and kernel development, eclipse and "build systems". We have good experience with the Xilinx tools as well.

I hope you understand how critical question is.

Thanks again.

well the timing depends a lot on the user and his/her experience. Please check the wiki page cited above with the porting instructions. it's a step by step guide that should help you a lot.
