Re: Changing Usermodes
Hi there, first, thanks for the responses (good timing :) ) I think, that the declaration of the functions which shall run in SV mode as trusted is a very good idea. However, is this convention of the function naming like TRUSTED_... the only possibility to use the trusted functions or may functions...

Changing Usermodes
Hello everybody, I've got a question out of interest. As already mentioned in another topic, Erika works by default in the Supervisor mode. Are there any functions or configurations yet to switch to another user mode and, if not, are there planned any methods? Thanks in advance ;) Greets Alex P.S. I...

Re: Problems with Infineon Aurix tricore
Hi Rudi, I don't know if your problem still exists, but I had the same. A reason was, at least for me, that I installed the minimal Cygwin Installation offered at the Erika download page (http://erika.tuxfamily.org/drupal/download.html). After that step, the compilation of the EE-Projects were worki...

Aurix Multicore Single-ELF option
Hi everybody, I'm currently trying to build a multicore project on Infineon Aurix with the EE_BUILD_SINGLE_ELF option shown in your wiki. There I have some problems: - If I write the EE_BUILD_SINGLE_ELF in the OIL, the start script is written to load the tc27x_multicore.elf but no tc27x_multicore.el...

Re: Osek COM on Multicore
Hi, I don't know yet if I can come to Esslingen due to my master studies which take quite much time, I will try to get this day free for the event. But there will certainly be other events to meet, I think. If I get some good measurement results, I will share them with you. Thank you very much for y...

Re: Osek COM on Multicore
Hi, Thanks for the fast reply. I normally work with another real-time OS called PXROS-HR and I try to do some test to compare several aspects of both to point out the areas of application. And for this reason, due to Pxros only supports Messages between several tasks (shared memory is not supported ...

Osek COM on Multicore
Hi there, I'm trying to send messages on the Multicore Aurix from Task 1 on C0 to Task2 on C1. However, I got 2 problems: When I simply set Action on the sent-message, I got an error from the "oil parser" that the task cannot be found. Well, this is repaired by using a callback on C1 that sends the ...

Hi,
thanks for the quick answer.
You are totally right, the tasks run on highest mode.
Thanks again

Switching User Modes on Infineon Aurix
Hi everybody, I'm trying to implement some time measurements on the Infineon Aurix TC275 and for that, I try to read out the GTM register on address 0xB0000010. For that operation, I have to give the running task some more privileges, like user1-mode or higher. So my question is: what should I do to...
