Dear all, after a long, long work, I\'m pleased to announce that we released ERIKA Enterprise for dsPIC version 1.4.3!!! Here some of the improvements: - New license: GPL with Linking Exception instead of the double licensing (useful for implementing industrial applications with ERIKA - OSEK Conform...

Re:Flex and SPI
Hi Pasquale...
- no resistors in that case...
- we wil release the application soon, hopefully before the Microchip Masters
- the CON6 contains some pins which come from the PIC18... which are basically linked to the programming part of the dsPIC and to the spi...

Re:Flex and SPI
Hi Pasquale! Yes... use the jumper settings as described in the FLEX docs... For the SPI connection, please use a Demo Daughter Board, or connect the pins directly using the instructions found at http://www.evidence.eu.com/content/view/250/266/ (And once you have done that, could you please update t...

Re:Burned the dsPIC 33F, it is possible replace it
Welll... when we designed the system, it was designed with that in mind. In particular, look at the board. There is a set of holes surrounding the chip. Put there a set of strip, and you\'ll find that the pinout is compatible with the Microchip PIMs (allowing you to try different chips, PIC24, and s...

Re:Code generator for Flex. Really good but...
If not... you can try to just pass by on Tuesday... there are the lab experiments going on... and maybe someone will be able to spare some time to solve the issue...

Re:Burned the dsPIC 33F, it is possible replace it?
Hi... sorry for hear that...
We tried hard to make the FLEX power supply robust and to pot resistor to protect the microcontroller... but it is not possible for -all- the pins...
The Flex board comes without RTOS installed, and for that reason you can try a rework to substitute the chip...
bye,
PJ

Re:Code generator for Flex. Really good but...
Dear Pasquale... - did the compilation finished correctly or stopped in some point? in which point did it freeze?... There is nothing strange in the software we distribute that can freeze your laptop... - About the debugger/Programming mode: This is quite strange; probably the jumper settings are no...

Re:error from building
Hi,
hmmmm... No idea what could be.
Did you solder the ethernet connector yourself or did you got the multibus board with the connector already soldered?

Re:Should we make a wiki?
Hi!
I always thought it was a good thing to have a wiki... but I wanted to have something on the forum before starting it...
but ok, I\'ll try it ... and we\'ll try to get it in a way it will never remain outdated...

MPLAB Debug symbols on ERIKA Enterprise - solved!
Dear all, as many of you noted, for some reasons the ELF files produced by RT-Druid or Scilab does not show the source code in MPLAB IDE. We have been searching for the reason for some time, without finding the reason why our compiler scripts does not work. Finally, yesterday night it seems I have f...

Re:Code generator for Flex. Really good but...
Let\'s try to narrow the possibilities.
Try open RT-Druid, create a project using the template \"simple periodic task\", which basically blinks the system led.
Does that application runs on your hardware? that one should have no problem.
bye

Re:Code generator for Flex. Really good but...
hmmm... quite strange.
Are you able to correctly program the board with the other examples we provide under RT-Druid? (e.g., the simple periodic task example)?

Should we make a wiki?
Hi all,
I see that a growing number of posts are coming on the same topics (e.g. how to build a block, ...)
...should we make a wiki to maintain this growing information?
